When people ask me how long I've been a photographer, I don't always know what to answer. I've had a camera ever since I can remember, all the way back to my fuchshia Kodak Fisher Price model from the early 90's! In Middle School and High School, I was always the friend that brought a camera to hangouts (you know, before the smart phone days).
As I became a "real adult" (that was post-college, for me) my camera collected some dust as I pursued my first career as a Social Worker. However, when I had my first baby, I had the most beautiful subject right in front of me, so I pulled out my camera again. I practiced on her, as as well as friends and their families. For several years, while I had a toddler, then a newborn and a toddler, I grew my business slowly, organically, and in a way that worked for me and my family.
In 2021, I went all in. I became an official LLC, and I started to pivot to brand photography. I have discovered that working with fellow entrepreneurs really lights me up!
